A Free Plastic Canvas Pattern for Making Minecraft Blocks
Grass is probably Minecraft’s most iconic block. Grass and cobblestone were one of the first two blocks in the game. Grass is very abundant in certain biomes and is great for sheep/wool, farmland, growing flowers and making garden paths.
We use a lot of long, gobelin stitches in our Minecraft plastic canvas patterns to make the stitching go faster. But… for the grass, we wanted to keep it iconic so we are using a basic tent stitch.

This is a free plastic canvas pattern to combine your love of stitching and the world of Minecraft. Stitchblockz is just a name I created for use on social media accounts. And Minecraft belongs to: Mojang AB – TM Microsoft Corporation.
Minecraft is pretty cool about letting fans make and sell stuff, and I’m cool with you making finished products with these patterns for sale at craft fairs or online. However, it’s very important that you check out https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/usage-guidelines. Don’t worry – it’s an easy read. They very much want folks to use that disclaimer: “Not an official Minecraft product…”
Download or print the embedded PDF below. For tips and tricks, hop back to the Stitchblockz homepage.
