Cutting intricate shapes out of plastic canvas can be frustrating, so remember patience. I would use 10 count plastic canvas instead of 7 to make these for a more delicate look, and use silk and satin as fibers or linings where applicable. Pretty beads and silk roses too 🙂

A happy marriage is the union of two good forgivers.

After having been married for almost 30 years (and still counting), I am aware these quotes are not necessarily for newlyweds because of the lack of sugary sweetness. I do love these quotes because of their stark honesty. Crafting is like that. Things don’t always work smoothly, but you keep trying because relationships are a work of art. Something you can treasure forever.
Best wishes and happy stitches!
