Decorate a Halloween Tree with Stitchy Ornaments or Smalls

Priscilla’s Blog 2017 Halloween Tree

Apparently, seasonal ‘Christmas’ trees have been around for awhile. I must have seen them at some point, but it wasn’t until I was watching Stitching With The Housewives fall or Halloween home tour at Priscilla’s that I really noticed the tree. It was great to see this shake up of seasonal décor. After that I bought a small two-foot, white artificial tree. I do like it, but two feet tall isn’t really big enough for me so I’m on the hunt for a thin pencil tree like Priscilla has.

I love the look of her lighted, white tree with black and orange accents and cross-stitch smalls. Check out their Etsy shop stitchinghousewives. They have a lot of season patterns in a series. And take a look at last year’s Halloween Farmhouse home tour.

No needlework in this Decorate With Me from JoAnn, but I love the idea of the witch hat and feet!

Keep an eye out at your local craft and department stores for artificial trees. Michaels is my go-to craft store. Theirs are not currently in store. It’s only August, at the moment anyway. Michaels has free shipping over a certain amount. And watch your coupons!
